Heiko Bittmann is a Japanologist and sports scientist. He practises iaidō (Musō Jikiden Eishin-ryū, 6th Dan), jōdō (Shintō Musō-ryū, 5th Dan) and karatedō (Shōtōkan, 3rd Dan).
